I live in Singapore where food halls, or as local called it Hawker Center, is in every corner. It's where people eat and gather. There are many unique characters in a hawker center, the most prominent ones being The Uncles and The Aunties. Everyday, I see them roam around collecting dirty dishes while pushing cleaning carts. Most of them have been doing this for a very long time. Their movements have become so fluid; just like dancers. They're the star of hawker center!
I wanted to experiment making digital pattern but of course being an animation student, it's out of my nature. So, I decided to incorporate a familiar aspect: movements.
I just recently got really into the 80's. I find everything about that decade to be super loud, shameless and just wild!
